Fully 70 metres in length it allows visitors to view the initial part of the gorge characterised by a succession of waterfalls and pools.
The trail is furnished with a series of educational panels illustrated with photographs of the narrowest section of the gorge, largely hidden from view.
The hiking loop encourages walkers to head off from the Roman bridge, follow the Caurga trail and just before the village of Fraciscio cross the newly-created Tibetan bridge before returning to Campodolcino along the Moladino trail which criss-crosses the main road.
The route is by no means difficult, can be undertaken in around an hour and is suitable for families and children. Along the way you can appreciate the effects of the erosive force of water over thousands of years, and of course enjoy the real beauty of nature expressed in this little corner of the valley.
